Dansare / Artist

Dansare has been in the performing arts since the age of eight. She has appeared in more than 15 musicals and played and starred in six (including Peter Pan, Pippin, War of the Worlds, Brigadoon, and The Sound of Music). She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in 2007 by Blue Star Awards for her role as Meg Brockie in the musical Brigadoon. She has also been immersed in the world of photography since 2007 (which got her chosen to be in the Kansas City Artists Coalition Undergraduate Exhibition in 2009). She attended Missouri Western State University between 2007 and 2010 pursuing a major in graphic design and an emphasis in photography. Dansare and Austin met in 2004 in high school and later formed Eyelit in 2008. Since then, Dansare has helped produce Eyelit’s albums (‘Elephant – EP’ and ‘The Woe Dies’) and wrote two of the songs for ‘The Woe Dies’ (music and lyrics for ‘Holding My Own’ and lyrics for ‘High’).
